While the energy costs in Rwanda are very high the good news for all consumers and users of LED & Solar Lights are that the payback period is extremely low. Nevertheless, the need for adoption of environmentally friendly LED & Solar Lighting products and solutions reduces the carbon footprint of all Rwandese Citizens thereby leaving behind a better tomorrow for the future generations.


Additionally, since Rwanda is not a heavily industrialized country with extremely good weather this results in low usage of energy guzzling motors, air conditioners and heaters. Therefore, the lighting load demand as a % of the total power demand is very high. This results in very high energy savings as public lighting forms a major part of the total energy load leading to a large absolute saving of power which can be used for connecting more and more households to the grid.
